In media, Carmen has diverse experience in acting, dance, presenting and voice-over (actor showreel). She is an Expert Presenter at Past Preservers (presenter showreel), a Multilingual Voice-Over Artist at BlokMedia, and has worked for the British Film Institute (BFI) and trained in TV presenting with the TV Training Academy, Pinewood Studios.


Carmen also works as Outreach Educator & Social Media Manager for ‘Multilingual Digital Storytelling’, a global intercultural digital literacy project by Goldsmiths University of London, with the British Museum, Museum of London, British Film Institute (BFI), and NRCSE. Additionally, Carmen is the Features Editor & Creative Writer for Fashion Shift Magazine, having worked as a production manager for large-scale photoshoots, campaigns and published numerous articles, interviews, and multilingual digital stories (see writing samples here).


Carmen has been interviewed in India about her survey of ancient Muziris (Pattanam) for a documentary on MarineBiz TV Channel, Dubai, as well as being interviewed about her archaeology and modelling careers for international magazines, such as Thrifty Hunter and Fashion Shift. Musically, she sang for emerging music producers in the UK and Germany, with original recordings, collaborations, and lyrics in different languages. A recent highlight includes recording at Abbey Roads Studio as a competition finalist.
